Xplova E5 is a lightweight, large-screen, stylish GPS Cycling Computer for performance driven cyclists and those who are keen to share their cycling journeys with friends. Ease of Use
Xplova E5 features a large-screen display which shows 7 cycling data simultaneously. No more are complicated button combinations required to see dedicated cycling data while riding; instead, intuitive “data select” buttons allow you to see through all cycling data without requiring a learning process. With Xplova Smart Dynamic Logging Technology, it is no longer needed to use any Start/Stop key to record an activity; Xplova E5 automatically tracks all cycling data while it is on. GPS and multiple sensors
Xplova E5 is equipped with high sensitivity GPS receiver with instant fix and location prediction features, high resolution barometer to calculate elevation variation and ANT+ wireless transmission capability to connect with those compatible Heart Rate Monitor, Speed/Cadence Combo Sensor and Power Meter. It measures speed, distance, time, elevation, total ascent, temperature, heart rate, cadence, calories-burned and power-output in Watts. Xplova E5 also features a motion-detection sensor for saving power. The device goes into power saving mode if there is no movement detected over a period of time, and wakes up instantly when riding resumes, this generally extends the battery life by 10% to 35%.

Xplova E5 offers ‘mark LAP point’ and ‘Reset trip/distance’ functions for those riders who wish to identify the LAP-points and trip boundaries; and it is possible to record initials while uploading an activity to http://tour.xplova.com/. With the help of analysis charts, users can compare their historical records or compete with cycling teams by a whole or a part of an activity. Locations highlighted using the ‘mark LAP point’ feature also acts as waypoint markers upon being uploaded to http://tour.xplova.com/ . Waypoint markers can then be edited and stored as personal Points of Interest (POI) which can further help riders to share their journeys with friends easily and comprehensively.

Xplova G5.ALPS und Xplova G5.E heißen die jüngsten Nachfolger des Xplova G5 Bike Navigator. Sie arbeiten ebenfalls mit der hauseigenen Software X-Navi und X-Tracks, welche beim Importieren von Routen und Radfahrdaten, bei der Leistungsdiagnose und der Darstellung der gefahrenen Touren auf Google Maps Verwendung findet. So kann man auf die G5-Geräte bereits jetzt gpx-Dateien und auch Kartenauschnitte von MagicMaps übertragen.

Das Xplova G5.ALPS wird mit topographischen Transalp-Karten geliefert, die Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Italien und Frankreich abdecken (sämtliche Karten stehen ab dem 3. Quartal 2010 zur Verfügung). Das G5.E beinhaltet die Straßenkarten Westeuropas. Für die bisherigen Xplova-Geräte stehen jetzt Updates zur Verfügung, welche insbesondere die Kartenfarben deutlich verbessern – von vielen Xplova-Nutzern lange ersehnt.
